    Full Answer

IIBA requires 7,500 hours of BA work experience accumulated within the 10 years preceding your application, with a minimum of 900 hours in at least four of the six BABOK knowledge areas (no single knowledge area can supply all your hours).

You also need 35 hours of professional development in the last 4 years and two professional references. This is the most commonly under-researched eligibility detail candidates ask about, since the headline "7,500 hours" figure is well known but the four-knowledge-area distribution requirement is frequently missed in initial applications.
