About Vikrant Chauhan

I graduated with a degree in Pharmacy — not Computer Science, not Business. But during my studies I found myself more interested in the systems, processes, and decision structures of healthcare organisations than in the chemistry itself. That gap between “what a system is supposed to do” and “what it actually does” became my career.

My first role in business analysis put a name to what I'd been doing instinctively: requirements engineering. Taking vague stakeholder needs and translating them into structured, unambiguous specifications that technical teams could build from. I got good at it — earning CCBA® and then CBAP® certification through the IIBA, completing over 7,500 hours of documented practice.

Then AI arrived — and I watched organisation after organisation start with the technology and work backwards to the problem. The failure rate was predictable. In 2025 I formalised what I believed would prevent it: Business-First AI™ — a 7-stage methodology that enforces problem-first, outcome-led development before a single line of model code is written. That's the work I do now.
